Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of TheTaskVault (the "Platform"). By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. The platform

TheTaskVault is an online marketplace that connects buyers with independent tradespeople and service providers ("Sellers") in the GCC region. We are not a party to the contract for services formed between buyers and sellers.

2. Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Payments and protected transactions

Payments are processed via our payment partner and held securely until the buyer marks the order as complete or the auto-release window expires. Service fees and platform commission are disclosed at checkout.

4. Seller obligations

Sellers must hold any trade licences required by their jurisdiction and must complete the work as described in the package they sold. Misrepresentation of qualifications or services may lead to account suspension.

5. Disputes

If a buyer and seller cannot resolve an issue, either party may raise a dispute. Our team will review the evidence and make a binding decision regarding the release or refund of protected funds.

6. Prohibited conduct

You may not use the Platform for any unlawful purpose, to circumvent our payment system, to post false reviews, or to harass other users.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TheTaskVault is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform or any services purchased through it.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
